Light sheet fluorescence microscopy spilts fluorescence excitation and detection into two different light paths. It is possible to image very large optically cleared specimens in toto, and with subcellular resolution.

Due to an issue with our 5× illumination objective, we have implemented a new strategy for external groups currently using Lightsheet 7.
Access for external users will be temporarily removed. If any external user would like to use the system, please contact one of the responsible persons (Michael Weber, Lea Kalayci, or Rose Behncke) and let us know when you would like to use the microscope, for how long, and which objective you plan to use. The responsible person will then set everything up and complete the booking for you.
We will keep you updated if we establish a simpler and more efficient solution.
